We recommend children come in for their first orthodontic consultation at age 7. Often, we don't see the need to start treatment until they are older but getting a baseline at around age 7 is a good way to forecast what might be needed in the future.

How much do braces cost?
A:
Unfortunately there is no "one-size-fits-all" treatment. This means that ortho treatment plans cost, varies per individual. Come in for a free consultation and we can discuss the best treatment plan for you or your child.

Does Insurance cover Orthodontics?

How long will I or my child have braces?
A:
We would love to have a crystal ball but unfortunately, we aren't able to estimate how long your orthodontic treatment will take until we have a consultation. Come in for a free consultation to get some answers.

How often do I or my child have to come in for adjustments?
A:
Most patients come in every 6-8 weeks for their braces to be adjusted. Towards the end of treatment, we may have you coming in every month.
Q:
I have TMJ issues, will orthodontics help?
A:
Orthodontic treatment does help many patients ease their TMJ issues and pain, However, we would like you to have a consultation with Dr. Mascola to get a better idea if orthodontic treatments will help.

If I have crowns, can I still get braces?
A:
Yes you can! Dr. Mascola treats many patients with existing crowns!
